theoretically if a person has a sert, racetuner or sepst already on the bike
and they loose the tuner or the box that connects to the bike to tune with
i forget what it's called .could that person put a powercommander on the bike and tune from there or do they need to have the ecm put back to stock.
I wasn't aware you can put the ecm back to stock that once the sert is married to the ecm theres no divorce. If you try to put a PC on top of everything else your going to cause conflicting data and its not recommended.
From: South Carolina-First to secede and hopefully the next.
My bike had a sert with it. I put a PC V and AT on. No problems. Bike runs great, not too hot, slight burble on low RPM decel.
AFAIK, the PC modifies the signals from your ECM to the fuel and timing to suit the parameters you've set. It doesn't matter what the parameters are from the ECM.

I just had my motor redone, it has a sert from the first build and a PC was installed on the new build, from the way it was esplained to me (and I forgot half of what was said) the PC overrides the sert, and yes it cant be removed, there is no divorce option. 3k miles and no issues. We will see how it does in a few weeks trapsing through Az, Co, and UT in the hot climates.
