i like my toe and heel shifter. i changed mine out for the flatter pegs instead of the round ones on my 2010 ultra classic and now 2013 ultra classic limited. makes it a lot easier. my 2006/102/1600 yamaha road star has more of a flat spoon on the heel shifter. i wish i could find one like that. its no effort to reach it at all.

I bought a Midwest #47-117 off eBay for $47.50 & peg #34611-65A from Harley for $10.95.

The guy still sells them. They match the OEM shifter arm and look great. The price has gone up a little.

Walter's Workshop - Motorcycle Parts

I just changed out the heal shifter. A little longer than HD's and matches stock shift arm exactly.

I am coming for a Stratoliner and both the shift and brake controls were perfect form an ergonamicaly perspective. I think that is why I am having so much trouble with the RK.
Right now the purchase is on hold until I can figure it out. Thanks everyone for the input. Any suggestions on the brake side to lower it?
