Many people are spewing hate to the new bikes because they loaded a ton of money in their bikes and now will lose their *** to trade or sell to get the 2014, which is what most of them really want........

Default Agree!!

I'm really liking what I see with the new bikes. For the past few days I've read post after post with guys bitching and whining about what Harley has done. Before that, it was constant bitching and whining about Harley NOT doing anything to update the bikes. You just can't make some people happy. I think the 2014's are beautiful and awesome machines. Are they perfect? No, but what is? I want one!! If I had the money I would go get one today. Since I can't do that, I told my wife we should save up and wait for the 2015's so Harley can work out the little bugs that always seem to pop up with new designs.

How many threads are there here about buffeting? I bet more than anyone wishes to count! So they fix it with this vent and now people bitch?

Any of you "hard core bikers" ever ride a bike with linked brakes? Guessing not with comments like "do they think we can't coordinate pushing the front and back brake together"? Because if you ever did ride with it you would never go back!

Bet some of you on here would bitch about taxes if you won the lottery though

Saw new bikes in person last night. If you get the 4.5" screen plan on screen envy when you see a 6.5. Vent on fairing looks better in person. The lady liked it better so go figure. Not a fan of the radiator leg deals but not a fan of them anyways without a radiator in them. Tour pack looks nice seems better, saddle bags open pretty slick but the pull looks dumb to me but its hidden. Air cleaner is rather pancakey but that can be fixed. New street glide wheels are slick. I liked the Daytona blue paint job alot. Excited to see the road glide now, I really want to keep my 2013 awhile though. In my mind I plan on upgrading most of tfe things addressed on the 2014. Time will tell. Either way good looking bikes!

It's all fine and well with the new changes provided they don't have to be called back
all the time for re-calls.
This has yet to be seen with the new models...
Part of the problem is the techs do not know how to work on the new things as of yet.

yeah cause you with your 2003 were so into trading out of that old bike if they didn't redesign the batwing

come on, you are exactly the person that HD didn't care about with these upgrades

if you are riding a 10 year old bike that your own model has gone through signifigant changes in those 10 years you are not the target for HD

they are in the business of selling bikes, these changes will help them sell bikes

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the MOCO is doing what it needs to stay compliant and competitive.

Liquid cooled - mandated by the EPA. Also note, that with the new liquid cooled motors - there is MORE TORQUE acheived through higher compression. That's a good thing.

Infotainment - there are hundreds of threads on here about GPS, iPhone, do-hickeys, etc. - the MOCO took care of many of those things.

But I'm keeping my '13. Why you ask? Because I just got it and I love it!

I wouldn't buy an electra glide before as I didn't like the looks of them,to me the only thing they were missing to make them look more 70's was some wood grain vinyl accents.I like the new bikes and as soon as see what the RG looks like I will be riding one of the big tourers home from the dealer.-Great job Harley!
