i put one of the deka batteries in 2 years ago, paid $92 delivered off of ebay. still works great, but it should as it is only 2 years old. got 5 years out of my last HD battery, but starting to nudge $200 out the door was enough to have me try something else. the washers are a bit of a pain come winter storage, but not the end of the world. neighbor had issues with batteries plus products in his polaris 4 wheeler, 2 bad batteries in a row, first replaced under warranty, 2nd was not. i know that is a different battery, and as was mentioned earlier, when enough of anything is sold, there will be problems. if i remember from 2 years ago, deka makes the hd batteries and they do look alike, except for the spacer at the terminals. again, my battery is only 2 years old and i would expect any battery to last that long or longer. just my .02.

 

DITTO, just swapped mine a few weeks back & then just took the old one to Auto Zone for recycling. Can't beat it!
