I have a 2012 Ultra Limited with wired connections between the bike and my helmet mounted speakers/microphone (for both driver and passenger). What I want is a wireless connection that connects me to all my accessories, e.g., CB radio, weather band, stereo and comms with passenger. I also want to be able to communicate with my wife (100-200 yards away) who rides her own bike. In other words, I want to be able to connect with everything Wirelessly. I have looked through the Harley catalogs but it doesn't look like they make anything that's wireless. Does somebody make such a device in the after market? Thanks for your help. Dave
I have looked at these models and they appear to satisfy my requirement to communicate with another biker and/or my wife. And they also connect well with other devices via Bluetooth. But none of them seem to be able to connect back to my bike, i.e., replace the wired set-up between my helmet and the bike, and link up with my CB,, stereo, etc.
I'll be following this closely. I'm interested in doing the same thing. Most people I ride with don't have CB's but I'm not going to install a stand alone system. I'm also looking for a magical wire that will turn my system into blue tooth.......
I Have the Sena SMH10 headset its a great unit but to work the way you would want it to I believe you'll also need the Sena SM10 to work with it, might be best to contact Sena themselves and ask them
I will log onto this just to see if there is a good answer. One option is the Garmin Zumo 665. It has Bluetooth and music. It will sync with your wireless helmet. You can not use the handlebar mounted controls for the radio then.
I guess I'm looking for some kind of module that will plug into the connection on bike which converts that connection to blue tooth. Then this module would connect through blue tooth to my helmet mounted communicator and enable me to talk with other bikers via blue tooth.
