Default Some problems after getting the bike from the shop

Just had a rear tire installed.
I pick it up and the bike starts kinda slow. Start riding, everything seems fine. About a mile from home the oil pressure light turns on momentarily; a few seconds later it turns on and stays on. The oil pressure gauge reads strong, so I keep going.
Get it home and try starting it a few minutes later, it starts to click like the battery is dead.

Won't start now.

I got it on the trickle charge.

Any ideas? Could they have screwed something up?

The symptoms suggest a bad battery or ground...Did you check your cables?

Yes. First thing I checked. All tight.

They wouldn't have messed with the cables on the starter, would they?

Hopefully not but I would check...They could have left your ignition on by accident too...

How old is your battery? Maybe it's just a coincidence, or they forgot to turn your ignition off after they pulled it in the shop. Best way to tell is to pull it and have it load tested, I'll bet it tests bad.

Once you get your bike running again, check the charging circuit. In the DIY Electrical section there are Stickies on testing it.
