So today was the first day i had a chance to check out the new 2014's the new changes are nice. But is it my imagination or is the seating postition different on the new Ultra's, it seemed lower and more forward than my 09' what say you????

It is just a little different...I came off an 09... This sits about an inch lower and the brake pedal is up and/or back a little. Really made me miss my highway pegs..which have since been added.

Yeah and maybe more narrow in the front it seemed as if my legs were down closer to the frame!!! I thinked i liked it though!!
The stock 09 and 10 Electra/Ultra seats were all made using the Hammock seats seat pan which positions the rider higher and is wider. Mid way through 2010 Harley got so many complaints from people about the seat hight and width they redesigned the seat and came out with the "LOW" seat pan and a lot of the Limiteds came with them stock in 2010. It sits about a inch lower and is narrower in the thigh area of the seat where your legs go down. When you go lower in a seat it gives the sensation of moving forward. The "LOW" seat pan has been used on every stock touring bike seat since 2011 with the exception of the screaming eagle bikes. I personally like the newer seats myself.
