Default compensator problems?

Has anyone replaced their compensator with a direct drive spocket like this
http://www.hdwheels.com/images/Drive...Big%20Twin.pdf

What is your opinion on it?
I am thinking of doing this route myself.

Direct drive sucks. Been there done that. If you EVER ride on a trip... you will regret it.

Bar hopper can be a different deal.

Default Yeah That...

Truk hit the problem issue dead on...
Short spurts - OK;
Trips - No Way.... tried it years ago, did not keep it...
it's not meant for HD firing pulses
YMMV... good luck.

I just installed yesterday on 2011 Street Glide, no happy with it, allot of vibration issues, Plus EV did not send the spacer that was needed to replace the SE Compensator. I have 80K on the bike and ride hard. Been through 1 stock, 2 SE thus the reason decided to change to this type of sprocket. Will be changing out this week coming with a new SE Compensator set up.

Interesting....I have the 30t direct drive and love it. I have about 15k miles on with no issues. There is Noticeably more vibration at idle... but driving and shifting is so much smoother...no clunking of the comp. I will never go back.

I've never had any clunking with the SE compensator.
