I have been on the fence about adding some new bars to my '14 street glide! I have always been a fan of the "Monkey Bars"....But after several people stating that they do not fit the '14 models, I called Bagger Nation to find out. After speaking with them, they assured me that they "will fit". He also said the they are installing them with the stock clutch and brake hoses on the 8",10" and 12" bars! I went ahead and placed a order for a set of 12" bars. I will post some pics next week after the install...
Wow, 12's with stock clutch and brake cables. Looks like we are going to have to start a sub forum for the 14's since most of the old info is incorrect for the new bikes? Just learned the other day that the 14's can add LED front and rear turn signals with out a load equalizer. You guys are getting a few good perks with the new bikes.

I have the 12" on my Street Glide(Non special)and they worked just fine. not sure why someone would say they don't or won't work when there are others who have shown pictures of them on their bikes. The stock brake and clutch lines work fine but anything over 12"s and you will have to change them.
I read post from several different people and was told by Bagger nation that the stock wire length was good also but on my bike we had to add 6-8"s to the wires. Maybe its the Street Glide Specials that you don't have to add length to...dunno.
I was the one that showed the first pictures of Aps being installed on the 14. While they were Arlen Ness like I said in the post I saw two others that had Monkey Bars in my area on their 14's. One was a SG and the other a Limited. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...it-begins.html

That's great to know that they work with the stock brake & clutch cables I really like the way the MB's look on the SG that's my going to be my 1st winter project. I loved the Z bars on my CVO and the MB's look the closest to those.
Please give us confirmation once you install them if the cables have to be lengthened. I was on the fence about doing the bars but wasn't sure I wanted to go through all the trouble of the install.
Call BR and have some custom bars made. Why buy off the shelf company bars when they can make them exactly the way you want for not that much more. I dont work for or affiliated with BR in any way. I just had a pair of bars made by them recently and wouldnt have it any other way. I just put 20"s on my 2013 Street Glide and bought the wire extension and cable kit from Hill Country Customs. Had some issues with the wiring kit from them though. I told them I needed a kit for 20" Apes and they sent me an extension kit that was 8" too short. My mechanic had to solder in 8" of wire to approximately 24 cable lines to make them work. All in all they work fine now but the point of my post was why spend all this money for off the shelf everyone could get bars when you can have something custom made for you for not much more. You do the measuring so the comfort cant be duplicated. Everyones arms and riding posture is different so how can an off the shelf bar work perfectly for everyone?...they can't
I had 12" installed last week - the dealer told me I needed new brake and clutch lines. WHo knows if they're lying or not, but they did an escellent job and it looks great. They fit perfectly.
