Default RoadKing windshield

I just received my LRS shield. Do I need any parts to swap it out or is it just unscrew the nuts and retighten them. On my old Hondas you needed rubber material between the metal brace and the windshield. I want to have everything on hand when I do it.

Nothing else needed. Just go slow so you don't scratch it and keep up with what bolts go where. A few of them are longer than the others. Don't over tighten them either...

There was some type of sticky plastic stuff on the trim that's makes it hard to remove from the shield. Most stayed stucked to the trim. I used clear tape packing tape on the trim.

To get the trim pieces to release from the old windshield, position the shield with the curve down and press down on the center of the shield flattening it. The trim pieces will release easier.

Ya'll are making it to complicated. Take the old hardware off, bolt the new on. If you have issue with that, throw your tools away and NEVER touch another bike..
