Default Simple Handlebar Question

Sorry to ask such a simple question, but ...

I want to adjust my handlebars (2010 Road King), and I need to pop the little cover off the riser cover.

How can I do this without scratching my precious chrome?

Thanks

Black Electrical tape on tip of flat blade screwdriver works for prying.

plastic body filler scraper, or an inexpensive plastic trim remover kit at Harbor Freight....perfect assortment of plastic tools

Thanks to you both for the quick answers.

I used the electrical tape trick and it worked good, and the Harbor Freight kit sounds like something I "need" for sure.

Now if only the handlebars would rotate like the manual says ... they are stuck tight.
