Help with Bar Selection
2011 Ultra here with the KW 2+2. After riding with them a year I like the pullback but do not like how the shape does not fit the inner fairing shape well. Look at side view of KW compared to WO. You end up tilting KW back a bit to keep off the inner fairing. Replaced the clutch with +4 when I did it but everything else fit. Since I already have the clutch cable on there I may change to WO575 or 578 this winter to get bars that fit fairing better and go internal with wiring. Go with 578 for a great bar that is right at top of fairing.
I am east of Tulsa. If you get this way you are more than welcome to check mine out & sit on it.
LOL....yeah, I'm thinking about it. I think the advice to just sit on one and try them is good advice. Gonna have to work on making that happen. (I'm thinking the WO 578 might be a good choice??)
Thanks! I get that way in a truck now and again. I'll keep your offer in mind! (how far east?)

Personal experience is the best guide, but it also requires the most effort. You have be to proactive and search out dealerships, independent shops and other congregation points. Take your time.
One other point to bear in mind, and which has not yet been mentioned, is bar width. Keep in mind that your stock bars are 31" wide. Wild 1 Chubby's are 36.5" wide and Yaffe Classic Bagger Apes are 35" wide. Wider bars will require more pullback due to the extended reach to the grips.
The WO578's may work for you, but based upon your avatar, my guess would be the WO577's.
Been away from the computer a while (and I survived!) Just want to say I appreciate the feed back. I do intend to take my time with this and get it right the first time. I've made do with with the stock bars so far, no need to rush this.
