Need help to locate a company that is marketing an modified upper triple tree that comes with 2" longer fork tubes as part of the kit.The kit is sold with only the modded upper tree and the longer fork tubes.I would like to add intiminators and use this kit as well, because you could then use the top caps that have the screw adjustments for 41 mm tubes to adjust preload .I would like to do this mod on my 2005 FLHRS. Saw this kit advertised in a Harley mag a few months ago. Bought the mag and now I can't find it or remember who sells it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm doing the very same mods to my 1990 Glide. For intiminators look up member fabrik8r, who custom tunes them to improve their action for us dresser riders, he may still be supplying them to HDF members. There are also a couple of recent threads on the CCE tree kit. You will be in good company with your plans!

 

check out Howard at motorcyclemetal here on the forum. he has 49mm front forks by ohlins with the top bolted top triple trees. they har the cartridge type that should beat any gold valves or intiminators.
