Hey all its time to make the for pipes and tuning. I've decided on Cycle Solutions as they are in house for the winter and taking work. I've spent some time on the phone with Chris and although being very sure of his self, he is very willing to talk about do's and don't and experiences. I find it hard to believe that there is another shop out there that would have their experience since they travel to all of the shows all year.
My question is, are there any opinions out there good or bad? Prices seem fair, willing to work around schedules and knowledge is all there. This is my 1st Harley so any help -
I am going with the PC5, I don't think I will mess with it enough for the ThunderMax. Rhart true 4" duals and pipes.
I am very happy with fuelmoto. While bike was under warranty went with their stage 1 power package (PCV, AC and Jackpot slipons). Have since added their 107 w/555 cams. With stock heads makes my CVO buddies cry as I wave going by... lol.
Chris and his team did the work to my bike in Galveston during the Lonestar Rally this past November. I am extremely pleased with the work that they did and the advise that he gave me. I actually took off the PCV/AT that I had on my bike and went with the Thundermax and consider it one of the best decisions i've made.
You can trust what Chris tells you, he's been doing it forever and seen just about all of it.
I live in WA state, so I have not been able to actually meet them in person, or visit their shop, but I have bought a couple exhaust systems from Cycle Solutions and have referred other people to them as well.
I also have talked with Chris and Josh regarding the exhaust system for my new Street Glide and have watched the videos that show some dyno results and such for a variety of pipe combinations. They seem to be good guys, with some knowledge about bikes and very fair prices on parts.

Thanks, that is the kind of stuff I want to know. He wants me to do the cam kit and tensioners etc... and he'll do it for 1500.00 more while doing the pipes tuner and tuning. I just can't bring myself to spend 3200.00 breaking the motor open on a bike warrantied for 4 years and only has 500 miles on it.
I can understand your dilema. You can see what all I had them do to mine. It runs like a scalded dog! My experience with them was definitely positive, hopefully yours will be as well. The Rush ceramic coated true duals are awesome! I was skeptical at first but now I'm a believer,,,no more heat!! And the combo with the Rineharts.....WOW! And that shouldn't affect your warranty any more than slipons and a tuner. I will say, if I were you, I would rethink the PCV vs. Thundermax. The Thundermax does all of the work for you and is not dependant on how good a particular dyno tech may be. He has a pretty complete library of tutorial videos on their website that shows you whatever you want to know about it. Ask Chris about it, he'll tell you. Good luck!!

I dead set on getting the Stage 1 work done with them. Its the Stage 2 that Chris is willing to give me a bigger break on but again, I only have a few miles on it and 4 years of warranty to go. Its a whole lot easier for a dealer to claim "Cause" when you've replaced the cams tentioners and all the other stuff that goes with it.
As this is my first harley it is the dependability and all the other BS I have heard since I was a kid about Harleys. I am going to give it some time to change my mind!! lol Then I will go back for the next Stage or 2.
