Default Zero down zero payments 7 months 1.9 interest

Local dealer is advertising above promotion on all new Harleys. Do you think it's a ploy or legit offer?

I thought harley required 10% down?

What is the term? 24 months then maybe. Likely not gonna give you 1.9 60 or 72 months...

I don't think they would be advertising it if not true. Isn't that illegal?

I've purchased a many a car and truck with zero down and zero interest for up to 60 months over the last 12 years. Never saw 7 months no payment but certainly possible.

I visited two local dealers this weekend and heard the same story. Now that they have better inventory on the 2014's there are no buyers! I think some folks are waiting for spring and better weather and some just need a nudge.

I'm sure these terms will help more some bikes in the slower season.

I'm not sure of the terms but will be calling tomorrow. I have decent credit but not perfect. I wonder if is only for "well qualified buyers"? They do have a ton of 14's in inventory at this dealer.

Do you guys think I could get a street glide custom for under 21k?

A local credit union is offering 1.25 and 1 year no payments or interest, terms from 24 to 84 months, 25k minimum loan amount.

Not sure what they go for. Probably won't discount as much, if any, if they give you great financing. If I were you, I would get my best deal and don't even talk financing until you agree on price. And yes, good finance rates usually depend on your credit score.

Me and the wife got 0.9 from Hyundai for 60 months but our 800+ credit score was a major factor. I got 3.9 from HD dealer for 60 months an I could have probably done a bit better if I tried. They started at 7.9 for 84 months. No thank you! My local fcu had 2.25 for 60 which I intended to do but never got around to it... Would have saved me about 35/month I think.

oops, typo there. that was 1.9 for 60 months, not 50...... (though i will probably pay it off early as i have all my bikes)

financing any vehicle for 84 months just seems crazy to me. i know folks do it, but i don't like to be tied to a payment for that long. up until recently, i never kept a car that long. have never kept a bike that long, longest was 4 years. hope to keep the cvo and the wife's 2012 rgc for a good long while.

Go to http://www.seedealercost.com/ and see what the dealer pays for the Harley's. Then decide for yourself if you should be able to get one for under $21K. (The dealer invoice is $18,010 plus freight for a 14 SGS)
