Default Getting Ready

Ok, have decided I am going to install the Paul Yaffee 10 apes (not monkey bars). I believe my cables will work without having to buy new ones. I was researching the wiring extension kits, Hill Country Cycles makes a 12 in kit that is no soldering. Has anyone used this kit? Also I will need the one piece clamp top and I believe most on here recommend using poly bushings? I hope to use my stock mirrors until I can find some with shorter stems. Is there anything else I will need? Found a shop that will do the install with me buying the bars, etc.

Ok just wanted to check. I think the one piece clamp started coming standard in 08. Sounds like you've got it pretty much covered. I don't think the poly bushings will be needed tho. Don't really need those unless you go above 12"s.
