Default Fork sliders?

M getting ready to install some chrome sliders....... Got tools and all...... Just nervous. Even the service tech told me an ape can install these easily. Any tips/hints/suggestions before I destroy my front end? Oh yeah, dropping in a burly front and rear lowering kit as well!

Thanks for any help in advance

If you can swap both front/rear tires...sliders are a piece of cake. There's a YouTube vid on the entire front fork assembly, if you want to take a look.

The forks seals are the only hard part that require a special tool. Get through that and the rest is gravy.

^^^Easily fixed with a 2" dia section of PVC tapered at one end so you can use as seal press^^^

To hell with it...... I'll do it myself, you guys make it sound easy. Worse case scenario, I bring a box of parts and some form tubes to the dealership if I feel overwhelmed.

Just make sure you set your oil level correctly. Your new front end setup may call for a different level than stock.
