I found the link below. I thought it was a great comparision and well done. It may be helpful for you gents too.

This is a great comparison! I'd love to see an updated version of this comparison that includes the new Daymaker Reflector!

Does anybody know the manufacturer of the Reflector to avoid the extra cost of the logo?

Great question... the cheapest I have found for the Reflector was mid 3's. Still an expensive logo.

I'm not sure who makes the HD Reflector LED, but I'm curious to know as well. I've read that JW Speaker makes it and some say Truck-Lite makes it, but I haven't seen it on either companies website. I installed it and there's no hints on the back. The best price I found was through Kutter HD.

Truck-lite developed and manufactured them under contract with the US military. It was designed to be used on Humvees and other vehicles to provide a longer look down the road, as well as off to the sides. This was to allow night patrols to look out for IED's and enemy combatants off to the sides. They provide excellent definition and contrast.

They make the lights to a military standard, with long life, quality LED's, metal castings instead of plastic, good connectors, good heat sink managements, and polycarbonate break resistant lenses.

They are really well made and throw out lots of bright, high definition light. While not made specifically for motorcycles, they adapt pretty well.

Although the HD Reflector LED is very similar to the TL-P7, they are not the same light. The housing is much heavier, the reflector is more advanced and it has more LED's. Truck-Lite may very well make them, but this reflector was designed specifically for Harley's. It's definitely not just a TL-P7 with a Bar and Shield on it.

Definitely happy to finally see a picture of the new lamp on. In the looks department it an obvious winner over the other two real options. I think I made the wrong choice with the projector.

But won't you die a horrible, fiery death if you put lights designed for a car on your bike?

Sorry. I couldn't resist.
