Well I decided its time to get some better performance out of my Electra's suspension. I gave Howard a call over at Motorcycle Metal and ordered some JRI shocks for the rear. Not to swing on Howard's nuts but man this guy really knows suspension. Words cannot explain my excitement to feel the difference in ride quality over the stock air shocks. I will update you all on them once they are received and installed.

You will love the shocks and Howards dedication to making everything right.

THIS^^^^^ I love my JRI 13 B shocks I got from Howard. I haven't even got them dialed in yet since it has been too cold to ride much but a great improvement even without dialing them in. Can't wait to do that.
I bought some JRI's, too. They turned out to be a very good ride once I got them dialed-in (pre-load). No comparison, for me, between them and the stock air-shocks. The JRI's provide quite a bit more comfortable ride.
the ones i have on my 11 flhrc were quite stiff for the first 1k or so, I was kind of bummed. although they vastly helped the handleing of the bike the ride was kind of hard even though I had them dialed in as best that I could...but after about a 1k miles they have softened up some so that they are prolly the best shocks I have ever had...I think part of the issue was that I am kind of light (155 lbs) so it took awhile for the rubber seals etc. to wear in enough so that they were not gripping the shafts so tightly...
I had JRI shocks on my Dyna and they were the expensive adjustable ones, they leaked all the oil out but Howard had them repaired (not replaced) 100% free, stuff does break, but the customer service was top notch, just didnt think they would leak after 500 miles of riding on them.
