Default Unknown hose

I'm putting my bike back together after installing an amp and new speakers. There is a hose that runs up the right side of the plastic wire cover under the tank. The bottom of the hose comes out under the bike as an overflow, but I can't figure out what it attaches too on the top? I don't recall unhooking it when I removed the tank.

Any suggestions.

Thanks

When you open your fuel door that lil area is actually a overflow tray. Not much of a tray but it is. You see the lil hole at the bottom that is where it should go but underneath.

If it's what I'm thinking it is, then it is the overflow hose that attaches to the fuel neck and runs under the console then down between the seat and the frame.
