Default Baffels Question

So I removed my baffles out of my slip on's because I wanted that loud *** sound..but I lost alot of performance. What is a good substitute baffle to replace with so i can have great sound and still hold back pressure for performance. Also Will I damage the motor by running straight pipe without it being mapped??? thanks in advanced

Too many unanswered questions. What brand pipes? What about your A/C? Were they removable baffles or did you simply gut your pipes? If they were removable, what options are available? Yes, you are probably lean running basically straight pipes and therefore are running hot. There is so much info on this forum dealing with this subject. Is this a joke?

That's probably your best option if you don't have baffles installed.

I would get some type of tuner if running without baffles. J&P and other mail order have plenty of doodads to get back pressure.

If you spend $800 or so bucks on a thundermax. ( a lot of money.... I know)
You will never have to ask this question again. A learning tuner... Maybe someday they will all be that way. With a tmax you will never have to go to a dyno. No matter what you change.. A great advantage over that other system that you have to do a $ 300 tune every time. I put big ole loong duration cams in mine... And it instantly solved all my drivability/ ride ability issues. I also ran it with and without baffles and the conventional wisdom is to keep the baffles...the tmax did not falter either way... I am running without baffles and I will challenge anyone to show me A lack of performance.

Here's a link to the Thunder Torque Inserts - CLICKY

They will get you back all the power you lost, plus a little more. They will NOT lower the volume very much, but the Will Deepen the Tone.

Are your fookin ears bleeding yet ? Just for giggles I removed the baffles from my Supertrapps and it was painful. I hope you do not by people who dislike bikes and vote.

Will a power commander or a fuel pak essentially do the same thing for a fraction of the price??
