Getting ready to order mine. Since they're out of Canada, I want to get the right size the first time. Don't know what return/exchange could be like.
--- Head measures 23" and about 59 cm
--- Went to a men's store & tried on hats. 7 1/4 felt about right.
Can somebody who's ordered & received there's, look at the Akoury website & sizing chart & let me know what you'd get if the above were your head measurements? Don't know if they run a little big, a little small or true-to-size, so don't know if I should get M or L. Thanks.
I got mine at Hogsshoppe. Your borderline between M & L. Iam similiar but have say glad I got L. There chart says 59cm starts L but M says goes to 7 1/4.
As I mentioned in the other thread, I got mine at Hogshoppe also. Ends up being around the same price ($119) as if you'd ordered from Canada once you figure in their shipping and obviously quicker to get. Only took a couple days from them in NY if they have your size and either gloss or matte. I have a big noggin and at 24" and 62 centimeters, the size chart called for a XL and is a perfect fit. With your measurements I would probably get the L, especially if you ever wear a rag or hat or anything underneath. The ratchet strap is a nice feature and cinches it up really well. Very happy with the purchase and help from Bo at Hogshoppe. (I have no affiliation with them, just satisfied with their service.)
Thanks Rock. That's sorta what I was looking for. I don't wear a rag or hat underneath, but I'm fortunate enough to still have a decent head of hair! Think I'll go with L from the guys in NY.

You may want to email Bo at Hogshoppe to ask if they do have that Large in your choice of gloss or matte black before you order so you know when to expect shipment....just a thought.
Also....ask him if it does have the ratchet strap. I've heard some folks got the gloss black and didn't have it on it but most of the matte blacks did...who knows, but you may want to ask him to be sure.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago. From the website, my big head came under 24 inches so I ordered a size large. I had to adjust the straps and I wondered if I needed to order 1 size smaller. In my opinion, I think the helmets runs a bit large. But otherwise, it's a great helmet. Heck , at times I've been walking around the house just with the helmet on.

I've seen quite a few post saying they run a little big so since I were an XL now but my wife's small fits just a little tight I figured I would order there LG. I'll see when it gets here!

Just got mine a week or so ago...my measurements were the same as yours and I went with a large...it fits me perfectly.
Also, I got the gloss black and it had the newer ratchet style strap
