Default 2001 Road king

Alright I need some opinions........A friend has a 01 Road King that is in perfect condition with 4720 miles on it. The bike is fuel injected andhas Vance and Hines pipes, stage one and two mods, has brand new black wall tires and aftermarket Harley front and rearfoot rest and grips and 2 helmets and a cover with leather bags and hard bags small backrest on back seat. He wants $13,500
He will not budge on price at all. Is this a OK price.
THANKS

Check www.kbb.com for an accurate blue book value for your zip code. See what a new one would cost with similar equipment - check maintenance records - did he do his own work or was it done by a dealer - check out the dealer. Many things to consider when buying a used anything. The price seems fair, but, check all else out too. Very low mileage for that year, but, not that atypical.

It sounds like a nice Road King, but the prices lately have been in the toilet. Before making a decision, look around the internet a little. What I think you willfind is newer ('03, or '04)used bikes for the same money. I think he is too high!

Seems fair to me, it is practically like a new bike. It all depends what it's worth to you.

Like Ted said, check out KBB or NADA Guides. Also check for any current listings for that that model in local classifieds,Craigs list etc.,to get an idea of mkt. values.
One good thing is you know the owner and how he took care of the bike.
