Question security install

I have an 08' ultra. A friend of mine had his security system removed (stock) from his 07' street glide. What will I need to put his security module on mine? And will it fit?

Your ultra should have security on it from the factory

No, it was an option. I think that with an ultra, it should be standard equipment but it's not.

Yes it will fit. Dealer will do it for probably a half hour of labor. You can install it yourself but you can't program the fobs without the digital technical machine at the dealership so might as well just let them pop it in too. You'll also need the override code that was programmed into the system by your buddy's dealer during dealer prep (probably in his owners manual). Some dealers use the last 5 of the bike's VIN too so bring the last five of his VIN to try as well.
