Default I think my compensator took the "Dirt Nap"

Was gonna ride to work tomorrow and rolled the scoot out on the driveway to fire up and got "the noise".

2011 FLHR with 15,400 miles. Stage 1

For a while I've been getting that "labored start up" when the bike was warm. When I tried to crank today I got a sound that is obviously coming from the primary and sounds like a chain skipping over teeth on a sprocket. Bike stays on a battery tender always. Sound familiar to you guys that have been thru this already? I have an extended warranty with "0" deductible so I'm not worried about that and have a great indy that I'll use. Thoughts/comments/input.....Thx, Pat

I think it may be the starter not fully engaging the teeth on the clutch.
