The regular mirrors work fine. I'm missing what all the fuss is about again.[8D]

Well, I bought the little 2" stick on blind spot mirrors and stuck 'em on the outside porttion of the split mirror. Now I can see almost 90 degrees to my left and right. Much, much, better now. And it doesn't look "stupid", at least not to me.

Eyespy, yeah, the regular mirrors worked fine for looking behind me, but I also wanted to see, with a quick glance, without turning my whole head to look, what was beside me. Now I can. Not really a fuss, but for me, just something a little better.

Lil Trucker, they look fine to me. And if they work, that's what counts, right?

I have seen them and have considered changing to them. I hope you guys aren't totally relying on the convex part to see your blind spots. You should always do a quick head check regardless of what you do or especially do not see in your mirror.

sprster mirror stems are longer. sounds interesting
Voodoorug, can you elaborate? is it the late year sportster mirrors that have longer stems?

Someone else mentioned it, but my Sporties' don't seem much longer, and i did add the extensions to it. Only problem on the Sporty is that they vibrate more with the extensions.

I haven't been able to find any that I thought would work.
Would you mind posting a picture of your modification and tell me where you got them?
Thanks
