Default Validation Irritation

I swear...I go through all of my choices...add what I want...write the check...and now I DRIVE MYSELF NUTS wondering if I like the RKC better? Second guessing, etc.

Both great rides...just so different in looks. Yeah, I know the RKC is "versatile"...but what made me go with the SG was simply the "street" badass potential look they have...for a big city boy like me, it seemed to fit...and it we share initials after all!!

Is there something about these damn things that implants in your brain so eventually we have several plugging-up our garages?? I never had this problem with the metrics I've owned!

Please shoot me a note telling me what a stinkin genius I am and how much I am going to love the BLACK SG beast! Ok, you can skip the genius part...I fully expect a "enough already...shut up and know it rocks!" <grin>

Later,

SGN

The secret to contentment is not getting what you want; it's wanting what you've got.
I was very happy on my 1981 Yamaha Midnight Special. Until then, I was happy with my 1976 Gold Wing. Now I'm thrilled to be owner of a 2006 Ultra, even if it doesn't have a 6th gear.
I've never once ordered a computer and received it before there was something new that came out that I could have put on it. Don't care.

No motorcycle does EVERYTHING well, but they all get your knees in the breeze.

Enjoy that bike, it's a beaut.

Get ready to add on to your garage, 1 doesn't seem to be enough - I have 2 Harley's in my garage so far...and I still have room for a few more. Welcome to the addiction, it is a tuff habit to kick and I have no intention of giving it up.

It's called "buyers remorse" and it's why we have reception lines after weddings...

I think we've all been through the same process. For me, it was Heritage Classic or RK Classic. Went with the RKC and now my wife wants me to look at the Ultra. Which is fine with me, I'll turn the RKC into a solo ride.

You'll love the SG.

I replaced my '06 SG with an '07 EG. And while I enjoy the new bike, I miss the Street Glide like a hot girlfriend.

EG, RKC, or SG, they are all from the same family - Touring models with a touring frame. I chose my RK Custom because of the frame. Every review, and comparison to metrics, I read loved the comfort of the ride with the frame. The softtail frame? Not so much.

As far which one? The only difference is the front fairing and the saddle bags. I can put a shield on, put the pillion pad from Mustang on for my wife, add the backrest, and we're off. If I want to add a faring, I can do that to. When it's just me, the windshield comes off, the seat goes to solo, and it looks bad ***. Variety is the spice of life.

Altough I am saving up for a savaged sporty to turn into a fun little bobber.

Harleys are like Lays potato chips - you can never have just one

What he said.

Before I got my SG I had an '04 VTX and I loved it. It was a great bike that I put 24,000 amazing miles on in less than 3 years.

Now I hope to put twice as many on the SG in half the time.

Ride whatever bike you have...Love whatever bike you ride!

Like they say, your first gut reaction was probably the right one. You did good choosing the SG. Both awesome, but I personally like the SG look better then the RKC.
