Im Nick, been riding and wrenching on my Harley's for the past 14 years. Started with a sporty and worked my way up to a dyna, then a softail and now onto a Electra Glide. Bought a 1992 Electra Glide about 5 years ago. So far I've done a motor/trans and primary rebuild. Powder coated a ton of parts and rechromed a ton of parts. lowered it in the rear. Im really interested in doing the DIY air ride kit and I'm going to look into putting the new style bags on. Currently stationed in Okinawa Japan so my Electra Glide is sitting in storage courtesy of the USMC. Been doing the USMC thing since 2001. if you have a pre 1992 electra glide hit me up. Maybe we can trade some secrets, tricks and/or ideas. Cant wait to hear from all of you.
You found the right place, pappleng. Welcome aboard!
