I bought a used dragonfly and some of you were super helpful and i appreciate that. Its now in the shop getting painted along with hard bags.
My question is does anyone have anything on how to install it? I feel dumb asking this but the directions from DF were unclear and hard to see the pics. Do i need to buy pigtails to connect to the bike or are they already somewhere in the narcelle?
The pigtail on the fairing side is just up inside the fairing near the rear. If you didn't get the other side of it that goes to the battery, then you may have to retrofit your own connector and wire. You can use a good 3 wire electrical (oil gas resistant) cord and get a 3 wire male/female quick disconnect from radio shack to do that.
I think the 2013 and below HD or aftermarket 3 hole windshields work. The gave my buddy a crappy (non curved) one. I gave him an old LRS one but he didn't say if it worked or not.
I think DF used a Universal 4-Flat Trailer End Connector. DeadCenter Fairings has nicer one using Deutsch DT series connectors think they sell harness for around $20.
