I've got a new 2014 Ultra classic and had the removable tour pack installed by the dealer. I'm taking my first weekend trip on the bike this weekend and will spend two nights in a hotel.

Will I have to take the tour pack off and keep it in my hotel room or is there a way to lock it on the bike?

With the tour pack off do I lose the antennae?

There are kits available for locking the T/P. Harley makes one and there are at least one other aftermarket (Bruckus) kits out there.

If you did not relocate your antenna then of course you will "lose" it. All of my antennas (except CB) have been re-located inside my fairing.

 

I put a locking latch from HD on my Tour-Pak's mounting bracket.

Search on eBay for clamp it securely Jr. My brother ordered these for his tour pak and it works well.

 

the Harley lock kit comes in a package of 2, for 2 separate detachable add-ons. You only use one per device.
