Default stereo upgrade
what is the best stereo system upgrade? I have installed the Hogtunes tweeter bar, speaker upgrade and amp and am not really impressed with the sound quality that it produces. I get a lot of sound that sounds like busted speakers at various times when the system is played. I cant tell if it is coming from the tweeter bar or the main speakers. Just wondering if there was a better system that this to install. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of bike and what is your budget?

'13 street glide, really not set on a budget, but dont want to break the bank either. Possibly would want something that I can eventually add the speaker tops on my bags also.

Is all the audio gear Hogtunes, or just the tweeter bar?

Start off with a pbr300x2 and some Biketronics 7.1's. Or pbr300x2, a set of Infinity 65.11i's, and Arc Audio speaker adaptors.

If you really want to break the bank and do everything at once, Biketronics sells an amp and speaker kit with Hogtunes lids.

I have the same setup and I am satisfied with it considering it didn’t cost and arm and a leg. (Just an arm.)

Are you sure that your speakers are in fact not busted? I believe there is a lifetime warranty on Hogtunes speakers.
