Well by reading this it appears that I should not be ashamed of saying Metric, both my wife and I had Yamaha's V-stars(650 and a 1100) with no issue or complaints except "It was not Harley" but we all must start somewhere....

72 Suzuki 175 Dirt - 1st ride, 2 broken ribs, broken nose, broken hand, and then some. Gave this thing away to my brother after I joined the Navy.
