I'm working on my 2004 Road Glide, "Rocky Mountain Road Glide", that was featured in Hot Rod Bikes magazine back in 2005. It was built by the team at High Country Harley in Firestone, CO by the owner at the time. Two prior owners neglected the hell out of the machine so I'm refurbishing.
The throttle body is a Zipper's 54mm and the air cleaner is a BC Gerolomy setup and the backing plate is the only one I've found with the mounting holes clocked properly. I'll of course keep the backing plate since it fits but I'm thinking about another cover design. Is that cover with the integrated filter fabricated by them or are there others that offer that much surface area?
I'll look for schematics for other designs that would work with the support bracket. Thought I'd ask if any of you may know right off the top of your head what brand/design may bolt up to that backing plate?
On your 2004 Road Glide with the Zipper’s 54 mm throttle body and that BC Gerolomy backing plate, you’re basically working with a pretty custom intake base — not a common OEM bolt‑on pattern most air cleaners use. The integrated filter cover you’re referring to is typically something fabricated specifically for that backing plate by BC Gerolomy or whoever made that kit back in the day, which is why you don’t see many other brands that just bolt up cleanly.

Thanks Jack. I have it over at a shop for a Dyno run/tune so I just cleaned and oiled that one for now. Thanks again.
