Speedo off?
I don't know about other tuners than the Power Vision, but you can adjust the pulses per mile for the speed. I would think you can also do it with others, but the PV is right there for you. I got mine down to 1MPH+/-.
My 2018 tri-glide speedo was off by approx 8mph, showing slower than I was actually traveling according to riding buds.
Checking with built in GPS would be IDENTICAL TO SPEEDO. A TRUE test would be a separate GPS, like a Zumo or WAZE.
I hade my 'tuner guy' Calibrate the speedo with his Techno tuner and got it dead on. It took a while to figure out why the speedo was off which threw off my RANGE as well, but we never came up with the reason that we could prove caused it.
I changed front wheel to 19", I have a 114, stage II, but??? None of this could matter or maybe yes since the speed is picked up from a sensor in the transmission, which has never been touched. Anyway I am happy I can now get accurate speed and range information.
I also know for a fact that the V&H FP3 had a calibration mode that allows you to adjust your current tune so the speedo is spot on.
