Well after checking with some of my friends that have H-D trikes and contacting KST, I ordered a set of Reduced Reach bars for my 2026 SG3 Limited. I had to do something, as the factory bars were way too low for me. Like in my lap low. Decided to get the bars pre-wired. Also ordered the extended clutch cable on the recommendation from KST and the mirror relocation brackets. Now I wait for delivery.

 

i looked at the kst bars. 4" reduced reach is what i saw available for the new sg3. Is that what you ordered?

 

I will probably order the same bars from KST, I have had previous experience with them for bars on other bikes and have been pleased. I'm in NC so i can ride to the Myrtle Beach rally and have KST install the bars, so that's my plan for now. Pretty sure I can live with the stock bars til early May. Please post some pictures when you get the bars installed.

 

I contacted them and they informed me that the Bison Bars for 24-26 Street Glides, Patriot Bagger for 24-26 Street Glides and the Reduced Reach for 24-26 will all fit the SG3 Limited. I did go with the Reduced Reach. I told them I am 6' 1" tall with a 32" inseam and asked if they thought that would be a good fit? They replied that "Ret" the guy in one of their videos or pictures was the same height and they agreed I should be happy with that selection.

 

I took a short ride to Darlington Dragway today and I can say I cannot wait until these bars get here and I get them installed. These factory bars are killing my neck and upper back.

I saw a 26 SG3 at the dealer and felt the bars were much higher and closer than my 25 Tri-Glide...well, before I put my 2+2 Khrome Werks on it. Hmmm

 

My new bars are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Next up is installation.
