$279 / yr. with Foremost; $500 deductible + $3500 optional equip. coverage. Towing & roadside assist included.
64 next month!
Totaled a bike 4yrs. ago when I had Progressive, they were great to deal with but last year their rates more than doubled.
I'm with you. Their rates went out of sight all of a sudden.
Wait until you see the new Health Insurance rates for next year... Just got my company statement. 20% increase across the board for everyone. Did some research yesterday. Seems to be the average, not just my company. UGhhhhhhh
After seeing some of your rates I feel I'm probably paying too much although I did shop all the major insurance companies and have a clean accident & ticket record. I understand that some of the colder climate states will reduce motorcycle rates if your bike is stored during the winter months too. One "hit" I might be taking is that on the questionaire, one question was " do you have or have you had continuous motorcycle insurance for at least 6 months of the previous year". I might have to "bite the bullet" for a few more months but it won't hurt in the time being to check some of the independent companies.

I don't know if you all are aware but most insurance companies have 'winter' ins that covers fire and theft and minimum coverage for the winter months that you don't ride. You must change it back in the spring when you start riding regular again. This will cut your monthly cost in half for the winter months.

Be safe.
Depends on the insurance whether your going to save or not. I used to have Grange and my off months were November - March. I wanted to ride in March one year and they said I would have to pay for a full year to do it. I went insurance shopping and went with Progressive who has no lay up period. The icing on the cake was I saved $200 per year vs what I was paying Grange.
