Default Monster Ovals sound great but...

They are amazing, not knocking but If I had one wish, that there would be a way to swap out baffles to make a bit more quiet. I know, I know... Im the dude who shoves ear plugs in when going to anything that's way loud...

I want it to sound like it does, just not a loud... Any ideas ?

Interesting, had the Monster Ovals on the UL before trading it and always thought they were on the quiet side... just loud enough to keep but at the bottom end of what I was looking for. Not one for the ultra loud but like them to be noticed. Always liked the low end rumble they had though.

Sorry, no recommendations on making them quieter.

I welded washers (lollipops) at the end of my baffles on myJackpots and it mellowed them just enough to be good while touring.

thought of that, but didnt want to loose any performance.. Was hoping that a different baffle (bigger?) might cut a hair off without knocking the gains down...

I guess I might try to find a pair damaged or heavily used (meaning cheap) and try on them...

The lollipops are welded on the outside so I don’t see where it would affect the performance.i didn’t see any difference.
