Hello,
I'm a newbie about to win a bid on a 2004 VRSCB. I hope..I'm thinking of changing it to 240 wheel base. Do you guys know roughly how much it would cost me to upgrade? Adding labor that is.
There are a lot of options that could change that price. Aftermarket vs. Harley-Davidson; if aftermarket, who's line of products; do you mix and match vs. only one manufacturer; who's doing the work............
I would think you're looking at somewhere between 2 and 5k.
Why would you want anything bigger than a 200 anyway?
I know I have to give up some handling performance when I go more then 200 but damn those fat tires looks mean and rugged. Am I going to prefer it ? I'm not sure.FYI. I'm always has been a sportbike person. I now own a Ducati 749 and I track it.
First of all, i have to admit they look sweet! And they totally turn me towards looking at getting one. Ive seen kits and its not cheap! Roughly 2 to 3K. It includes new swingarm, new tire and rim and everything else you need. I believe i seen it in J&Pcycles.
