Getting a set of non baffled mufflers from TAB performance, a fuel moto tuner, and a K&N filter for the bike, what are my expectations for overall performance? Install seems as if it should be pretty reasonable, I've done exhuast and tune and intake on my 13 Wide Glide
It would be nice to know what year and model VRSC you are talking about.
Is it a 1130cc, 1250cc?
Air Filter and Muffler tips won't add anything really noticeable, just more noise. The fueler will just help with the lean drivability issue that is inherent on these motorcycles due to the strict EPA regulations.
OH WOW! my bad! It's a 14 vrod night rod. Wow, I guess I never realized that. I'm sorry and thanks for your input
No problem, The VRSC is already a performance machine vs a Air Cooled Harley.
You can maybe expect a 3-5 hp gain on a VRSC with proper tuning which is only about a 3-4% gain. Where as I have seen 10 hp gains on a Air cooled Harley, which is about a 12-15% gain.
I have Tabs on my VROD with no baffle and Tab's tuner / filter. Sounds great! Expected performance gain? unnoticeable.
ONE thing about the Tabs... at least the model I have... they are only held with the clamp to the factory exhaust, no brackets, which sucks, and the top one loosens once in a while.. Tab dropped the ball there.
