i understand its harleys first dragstrip bike in some time. how fast is it? can it compete with the japanese racers?

Sub 10 second quarter out of the box. What "racers" are we talking about. Anything can compete with most anything with the right time and money.

My shop is running nitro on a destroyer and is in the high 8s
Straight set-up, your racer Michael Ray holds the faster record of 9.2
and now they are putting a ATS Turbo on a destroyer and are going to run that

It runs a 1300cc Revolution engine that puts baut 160wrhp down. Watch the pro-stock class and you will see buells and vrods dominating the busas and zx14s

i saw ricky gadsen do the quarter mile in under 9 seconds on a stock zx14 but then not many people have his skills. i sure wish i did

If you go to an AHDRA race you will see classes that are just for the destroyer and they a blast to watch. What is really fun at these races is they are not pros just your next door neighbor going out to race for a little money and a trophy.
