Default Mind a general question?

This may sound fairly dumb, but I'm curious about the V-rod and how you guys/gals ride. I ride a Deuce, and love pushing the corners hard. My bike has a 34 degree lean angle, as do yours, I believe, so what's the advantage to the V-rod? Curious too as to how they ride two up. When I bought my Deuce I was drawn to the V-rod because of the cool look, but just wasn't sure enough to buy it. Thanks.

You were drawn to it because of the cool rear fender.

The advantage is quite simply the power. You'd spend a fair amount of money for 100 RWH and 11 second quarter-miles for an air-cooled H-D and I get that stock.

I agree with easy.

It's the get up and go when you twist the throttle.

I too like to push the corners and the V-rod leaves nothing to be desired in that department. Riding two up is another story. With the wider passenger seat on (would be the same with the stock seat) there seems to be a shortage of room for the passenger. She will be plastered right up against you and her legs will be uncomfortable because of the peg location. (She is 120 pound so not a slob).
Kuryakyn makes a sissy bar that sets back 2inchs and gives the perfect clearance. They also make foot peg relocators that move her feet forward to keep the whinig out of my ear. Not good for 400 miles but for the amount of riding she does its perfect.
