Hi to anyone reading this- I'm new to this forum but I currently own an 09 nightrod. Just wanted to share a current problem and fix that i was having and hopefully it can help others in the same situation. The bike was losing power and stuttering alot at 3200 RPM. I know this model has a history of also staggering at cruising speeds between 3000-4000 RPM. So what I found was a leak in the gas tank coming from the gas tank filter pressure side housing. I tried sealing it with an o-ring install, but that didn't stop the leak. I noticed in the exploded diagram, there wasn't an o-ring designed or allocated to go there. At this point I had no other option than replace the part to hopefully seal it. Before replacing it, I decided to use gas tank sealer "Seal All" to seal and marry the white tube from the pump to the black filter housing. Wouldn't you know it sealed very well! When I took the bike out, power was back to normal and all hesitation at any range in RPM was gone. The cruising stutter between 3000-4000RPM was gone as well! The power the bike makes now is incredible. It has to be the fact that the fuel injection is now getting the pressure it should!
