I have been away from this forum for a while but I'm back with a new bike. Used to have an 06 Street Bob which was very cool. Finally picked up my VROD last fall and absolutely love it. Only 500 miles so far as I am suffering through winter. Can't wait for spring. Saw another thread about exhausts, loved the vance and hines big shots I had on my Street Bob. Would like some input on pipes for the VROD. Thanks for any input.
jt... Congrats. It is a very special bike. There's all kinds of exhausts and all kinds of exhaust opinions. I'm a Supertrapp Fatshots fan for the DX. Others like a louder full pipe option... Tab, CFR, etc.
Nice DX. Welcome to the "outcast" family!
Can't help ya with the exhaust. We're still running the stock D exhaust. My wife is on the back seat a lot and doesn't think much of loud pipes. She can't stand being behind a bike with CFR pipes so I know she will never go for sitting on top of something loud. Sine I have no complaints about the performance, not much sense in changing.
