Hello
Hello to all, I thought I would join a HD forum to learn more about them. I'm going to pick up my very first HD Street Glide Thursday night with my beautiful wife in Fayetteville, NC We are making the trip from PA, spending the night once we get there to get a good nights rest. I hope I can sleep, I'm so excited!
It's a 2009 Street Glide with 7,900 miles on it, it's Silver in color. I had all Honda motorcycles on and off for the last 40 years. I haven't ridden in 13 years, some how I got the fever big time again! This thing is beautiful! The first Harley Davidson I ever rode, was my son's Dyna Wide Glide about 15 years ago. I did like it, but from the looks of this Street Glide. It will ride even better, I hope I'm right!
Tomorrow September 2nd, will be our 42nd Wedding Anniversary. It takes a lot of love, patients and determination to get this far. I'm very proud of our accomplishment, and she needs a metal of honor to have put up with me. I hope to meet some great folks here.
