I've been on these forums before but never participated. I ride a lot on my '16 Softail Deluxe. I began riding on a Sportster Iron for 5 yrs, then to a Dyna StreetBob for several yrs, then 19 mos ago to my Deluxe which is the custom color for that yr in Cosmic Blue. Very glittery w/graphics & ive loved the 37.000 plus miles I've put on it. Due to high mileage in short time, I'm in the process of the dealership finding me a new '17 that I want. Had intended to wait til the '19 colors were known & get one but due to HD changing everything about the Deluxe for '18, decided to go ahead. They changed everything I loved, plus I'm only 5'1" & they made the seat height 2" higher. So, I have saddlebag guards on & trying to find some hard bags to get painted for the new one due to my Deluxe hard leather bags being too small. Due to the bags, I cannot put Touring bags on, cuz they would be longer than my fender. Looking for bags that would fit the Switchback, that is the size I need. They're too expensive for me new so trying to find some used. Thanks for listening & thank you!
