I have a 2003 DWG and about Two months ago I took it in for 40,000 miles service, after I picked it up I noticed a noise coming from the rear, so I immediately decided to take it back in, they looked at it and test drove it and finally told me they found a cause to make the noise, something was rubbing against the belt but the bike did not choke out during the test drive and said it should be fine. I got on, going back home it did it again. Anyway, I’ve been back and forth a few times and they keep telling me that there is nothing wrong with the bike and I don’t know what to do. What it does is, first of all it could choke at any time and what happens is, The speedometer goes dead and would show a speed of “0” when doing whatever speed you’re doing and also starts coughing like it’s going to stop and this goes back and forth for a minute or so then goes back to normal and does it again later and again. Please if you have heard of this before help me.
