New guy in SoCal area :)
Hi!
I'm Derek, and I'm in SoCal. Seems I'm always getting into something or other, and this time I've gotten myself into an '82 Sportster with a '75 Ironhead 1,000 engine… basket case. I'm hoping for no more than a couple months of build time, and then, of course, untold hours and dollars on random stuff to make the bike better.
The bike and the engine are currently in a billion pieces. Build starts ASAP.
This is my first Harley. Had some Jap bikes in the past, but nothing at all like this beast.
