Ive been on this forum for about a year or so and thought today was as good as any to register. I found some useful info here, hope to find more, and maybe even contribute some as well. I own a 07 FLHX which is my only current Harley.
If it has two wheels and a motor I love it. I currently own 8 bikes and I am very anxiously awaiting the phone call telling me #9 has arrived. Ducati's are my personal favorite however I dont think my girlfriend and I would ever attempt an Ironbutt ride on one. Actually since they only seat one I know we wont attempt that!
Most of the riding we do on the FLHX is high mileage days and I could not be happier with this bike. I used to ride a 02 Night Train however we got to the point where we would only take it on long trips. That being the case I said to hell with this and purchased a bagger. Its not fast, it wont do 1:20s at the local track but it will do hours through the desert at speeds just north of 100 mph while keeping us both comfortable.
I am looking forward to this forum and wish all of you safe and enjoyable times.
