Default Salutations!

Just joined acouple of days ago and dropped in to greet everone. I spent the day cleaning the salt and dust off my 03 FLTRI for a polar bear run to nothern NJ tomorrow. After days of frigid, and snowy weather, the streets are finally clear of ice and the forecast is for sun and warmer temps. Glad to be a member of the group and I wil be reading all the time. It is the best way to gleam knowledge about my favorite subject. I've have been riding for about 30 years and have owned 4 Japanese bikes and 3 Harleys. The FLTRI however in my opinion is the best riding bike I've owned and is a keeper unless HD comes out with a Custom Screaming
Eagle Road Glide. I think I might get that itch agan.
Nice talking to ya,
Jeff

Welcome Jeff,

Glad you're gonna get the chance to Ride. I went for a ride this afternoon and thought about all you guys up there in the northeast. We're fortunate here in Georgia to be able to ride most all year long. Bit nippy in January and February, but nothing like up there.

Hello from the Mid-west and welcome to the club jsy224@msn.com.

I too grabbed the oppertunity to ride yesterday. Even at 46degrees it felt great!
Today is supposed to be warmer yet.

I have to ride about 9 miles to work and with chaps, leather gloves and jacket it's very comfortable from 35-40 degrees. The coldest I've ridden was 27 degrees for about 50 miles. Strangely enough the coldest I've been was when it was in the low 60's and I was wearing a short sleeved t-shirt. That was also for about 50 miles and I thought I was going to freeze my a$# off. Especially in the low areas.[8D]
