1st timer.

Just wanted to say hello. I have been following this forum for some time now and decided it was time to get involved since I should be seeing a new ultra parking in my garage first week of Dec. I order it last week of Oct after much debate between Yamaha Royal Venture, Honda Goldwing, and of course the ultra. I use to own a Venture, lots of power and all the goodies but it was a bit big for my 5'6" frame. I almost went for the wing after several long test rides. It all came down to HD not because of the power, or the six speed tranny,or the size (which by the way fits better the the wing and the venture), but because it's a Harley. I don't even have it yet and can't stop thinking about it. I'm painting my garage floor, I've put new light in over the spot were she'll be parked. I'm even building a new storage shed to get everthing out of the garage. So anyhow Hello again, and look foward to gaining from some HD knowledge in this forum.

Congrats man, You'll love it. Different brand bikes may be about the same size, about the same power, about the same amount of gears, but Harley's have a soul. Really.
